Stage 1: Pre-Treatment of Peptides

  2. pH Optimization: The pH of each peptide solution is adjusted individually to its optimal stability range (e.g., slightly acidic for GHK-Cu to prevent ion imbalance).
  3. Avoiding Oxidation: For peptides like BPC-157 and Thymosin Beta-4, an inert gas (e.g., nitrogen) is used to displace oxygen and prevent oxidative degradation.

Stage 2: First Lyophilization

The initial mixture, excluding GHK-Cu, is frozen rapidly at -80°C to preserve molecular structure. This mix undergoes primary lyophilization in a vacuum, where sublimation removes water without exposing peptides to damaging heat.

Stage 3: Incorporation of GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is added to the frozen matrix after the first lyophilization stage. This step is critical because lyophilizing GHK-Cu alongside other peptides would allow its ionic copper to interact with and potentially degrade sensitive peptide bonds in the mix. By introducing GHK-Cu at this stage, we maintain the structural integrity of the entire formulation.

Stage 4: Secondary Lyophilization
